1. Information we collect
We collect information users provide directly and information needed to operate the accountability product.
- Account information such as name, email address, profile photo, and authentication identity.
- Pledge, goal, commitment-tier, XP, progress, and reward or discount workflow data.
- Health and fitness data, such as steps, workouts, calories, weigh-ins, or related activity, when a user connects or submits it for verification.
- Proof uploads, app logs, and verification records used to evaluate pledge completion.
- AI coaching and chat content used to provide Hero Coach, partner, and support workflows.
- Payment and billing metadata if and when paid beta payment-provider workflows are enabled. MilosPledge does not need to store full card numbers.
2. How we use information
- Provide the MilosPledge web and mobile software product.
- Manage pledges, progress dashboards, verification workflows, XP, and rewards or discount calculations.
- Authenticate users, protect accounts, and support user requests.
- Generate AI coaching, reminders, and training-partner interactions.
- Improve product reliability, fraud resistance, and verification quality.
- Prepare or operate subscription/payment workflows when they are enabled.
3. Storage and infrastructure
MilosPledge uses a Hetzner VPS for the application stack, Amazon CloudFront and Route53 for CDN, SSL, and DNS, and Google Cloud MySQL for the primary database. Access is limited to operational needs, and sensitive runtime configuration is handled outside the public repository.
4. Third-party services
- Auth0: authentication, login, and token handling.
- Apple Health / Google Health Connect: health data synchronization when authorized by the user.
- AI service integrations: coaching, partner, and chat workflows.
- Stripe or another payment provider: planned paid beta payment processing; public beta copy should not be read as live production card charging unless the product explicitly enables it.
- Cloud and hosting providers: application delivery, database hosting, DNS, CDN, and SSL.
5. User choices and deletion
Users can request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data. Account deletion requests can be started through the Data Deletion page.
